7/15/2010 -  Entrain on Kevin Youkilis "Hit For kids" CD

Rounder records is pleased to announce the release of 'Music Hits Home' on July 16 including the song "Right Away People" by Entrain. The album is a compilation of songs by some of today's pop national and local New England artists all brought together for one purpose-to benefit Kevin Youkilis Hit for Kids, a charitable organization focused on the health and well being of children around New England. 11/7/2008 -  The Greening of Entrain

In an effort to help diminish greenhouse gases, as well as working toward freedom from foreign oil dependency, and it's economic strain, Entrain has converted our diesel Van to run on WVO (waste vegetable oil). Next, we plan on converting our RV to run Green as well. Traveling as much as we do with vehicles big enough and strong to carry the band and its trailer full of gear, we go through a lot of fuel. Running on WVO is carbon neutral. Enough talk, it's time to walk the walk. Everybody can help with the "Greening of the World". Let's all work together toward using recycled, sustainable products. We will soon be posting more info as well as a short video on how we converted our vehicle. In the meantime we NEED YOUR GREASE. If you own a restaurant, know someone who does, or if you frequent any local restaurants that fry food (Chinese food is best) please ask them if we can take their waste oil on a regular basis. Most restaurants have to pay to have this removed. We need some good sources of oil, they need to get rid of it. It's a win win for all. French fries gives us gas! Peace and Veggie Grease, Entrain

10/1/2008 -  A Message From the Band

Thanks to all for a great summer. Despite the crazy weather, the shows were all well attended and the support we received has been overwhelming. The entire Entrain camp has had a great time bringing our music to so many fans and friends, both young and old. We've found a comfortable niche playing early, all age concerts and we'll be focusing on this more for next year, as we hope to become even more available to music lovers of all ages. We've found that in New England, summer offers up a number of opportunities in this respect where as they are more difficult to come by once the winter comes around. And so, as the summer turns to fall, we've decided to take a much needed break from our constant touring schedule. Yes, after 15 years, the hardest working band in New England is taking time off. We have shows booked through the first week of October and will be doing a few shows here and there but for the most part will be spending the next six months taking time to be with our families and catch our breath. It won't be all play, though, as we will also be working on a new CD, with hopes of a release sometime this winter. We will be doing a few New England shows here and there, as well as some Florida dates early in 2009. So, keep checking the website for random dates before the new year (say, Halloween perhaps..........) and beyond. We plan to return to the stage full time in April with renewed energy and new music, ready to rock harder than ever for 2009. We will keep the website updated with hiatus happenings, as well as news of future shows and plans.

6/2/2008 -  SAD DAY FOR ROCK N ROLL

Rock N Roll legend Bo Diddley died today at his home in Archer Florida. I'm personally stunned as I feel like I lost not only a former boss, but a mentor and a best friend. He will be sorely missed and never replaced. He was the ORIGINATOR. As he used to say "I'm the man who put the Rock in Rock n Roll". RIP Bo. 5/8/2007 -  Entrain Plays the Beatles

We've just recorded a version of The Beatles "All You Need is Love" for a compilation CD called "Cape Cod covers the Beatles". It's a benefit CD for "Angel Air" (an organization that flies folks from the Cape and Islands to Boston for regular medical treatment). It was a joy working on this project, and the song came out great. It's got Jeff Clark singing lead and Alex Howland doing some backup vocals, as well as a kids choir on the chorus. It will be available in June 1st and will feature Carly Simon, Kate Taylor, Entrain, Chandler Travis, 57 Heavy, Maynard Silver and more... Go to www.capecodcovers.com for more info.
